A Viola in Focus

Schumann · Brahms · Hudec

“A Viola in Focus” is Bélu’s original project, revealing the unique possibilities of the viola as a solo instrument. With the aim of showcasing its rich sonic potential, the project brings together classical masterpieces, contemporary works, and improvisation. It is a journey from traditional harmonies to modern tonal experimentation, while remaining accessible and engaging for a wide audience.

Over the past two years, Bélu has worked intensively on developing this concept, creating a programme that moves between emotionally profound compositions and fresh, innovative moments. A Viola in Focus offers a new perspective on this fascinating instrument, expanding its perception beyond the boundaries of the traditional classical repertoire.
